The start of a new family.
Getting ready to have a baby I guess. My due date wasn't until December 20th so I thought I still had a few weeks to rest. Thats not what Brody had in mind though. I woke up on December 5th for a Dr's appt. and I remember saying " I can't wait to get back home so I can sleep." I was sooooo tired. The last thing I was expecting was my water to break at the Dr's office and me heading directly to the hospital. What a way to start the day. So off we head to Sutter.
Brody comes finally after 1 1/2 hrs. of pushing. 7 lbs. 9 oz.
This is my OMG I just had a baby face. Now what do I do with it. haha. I was so scared, good thing being a mother came naturally.
Brody came out with the longest cone head. I thought it was normal. Now that I'm looking back on it I know now what Blair was talking about when he saw him coming out. He kept saying he was waiting to see the eyes and face but only the head kept coming out. Looking at the Dr. for reassurance that everything was "Normal."
My new little baby. I love him already.
What a little munchkin.
Kissing his soft, smell good head. I am addicted to him.
Getting ready to leave the hospital. Learning how to change a diaper and put on clothes was new to me.
Love those feet.
Finally back at home and all baby wanted to do was sleep.
Little baby in our papisan. Just last week it was empty.
