We made it! Sacramento to Carmel in 3 hours and still smiling faces! We are off to a good start. Brody is so excited to be in our "new house" and can't wait to go the beach. He's been talking about the beach for a couple days now. I feel like I packed enough stuff for a week. I brought a bag full of snacks (which we ate), more clothes than I thought we would possible need (which we wore), blankets and pillows that even I didn't know why I packed (that we used), and tons of toys incase the kids got bored ( good thing I brought those). So now that I had a trunk full of our necessary items there was no way that my stroller would fit let alone the high chair that I wanted to bring, haha. Oh well, Brody can walk and Li''l Lily is light as a feather.
After arriving and going out to lunch we went home and changed into some warmer clothes and off to the beach we go. I just had to take a few pic's of Lily and Brody outside.
This tree was amazing and a perfect photo opt for us.

Back to the beach for another afternoon filled with sand and fun.
I wanted Blair to take a picture of Lily and I on the beach, he took the perfect shot.
Almost home from a great mini getaway. Brody is being super silly with his meek. We all had a great time. :)
