Getting ready to head off too Debra's house. Or as Brody calls her "The Egg Lady." Which is partially correct. She is a lady and we do buy our eggs from her.

Once a week we make a special trip to Debra's home to get eggs from her happy, cage free chickens. Its a special time the kids love and I love as well. It reminds me of Iowa and seeing the kids so happy in turn makes me just as happy.

Our new thing is saving out table scraps and feeding it to Pig 1 and Pig 2.

We love seeing them grunt and gobble down our old food. No wasting in this house.

Walking over to see all the sheep, goats, ducks, turkey, and llamas.

All the animals are anxiously awaiting for their food.

Poppa and Brody herding the animals.

Smile for the camera Brody.

Yea, Momma is here too. We can't leave her out.

I think more than seeing the animals and watching the pigs, Brody's favorite thing to do at Debra's is to pick tomatoes in her garden and then eat them all before getting home. He has earned his nickname from her as "Tomato Boy" It's only fair. So here we have The egg lady giving Tomato boy tomatoes.

Yes those are tomatoes in his cheeks!

Our favorite big man "Jo-Jo" we love him.

Here is a close up of Jo-Jo.

I'm Sandwiches the Turkey.

Please pet me too.

Ok. I get the 2 finger rub.

Back out front to the pumpkins. Debra grew about 14 huge pumpkins and we were so lucky to get one from her.

She carved love into this one while it was growing.

Going to pick some more tomatoes in her secret garden. I absolutely love this place.

This is so cool! How did you find your "egg lady"? I'd love to go to a farm like this for eggs and what not! better to pay the farmer then a corporation :)
